What:   A weekend retreat hosted by the same people who run YAC

Where: Cherry Run Camp, Rimersburg, PA

When: Doors open at 7pm Friday, February 17. Camp ends 1:30pm on Sunday, February 19.

We will meet at the church at 5:00pm and leave by 5:15pm. It will take approx. 2.5 hours

Why:     It’s a great time to renew, and refresh your walk with Christ and have fun too!

Cost:      Early Bird Registration is $80  - $30 deposit due by February 1st

$105 on all registrations after the early bird deadline.

Required:  Registration form completed, signed, and notarized with deposit (if early-bird), 2012 Church medical forms also need to be signed if you didn’t fill one out for Winterjam

Who:     Students in grades 7-12

What:   WinterJam is a night of music by some of the Christian industry’s top artists.

Where: Wolstein Center in Cleveland, OH.

When: January 29th, 2012. The doors open at 5:00pm and the concert begins at 6:00pm.

We will be leaving the church at 2:30pm, stopping at Taco Bell for food then heading up.

When the concert is over we will be heading directly home knowing that the next day is a school day. We will have students place a call at the beginning of the trip home. Travel time is approx. 1 hour.

Requirements: $10 ticket price, any $$ for Taco Bell, warm clothes (will be standing outside for a bit), 2012 Medical Release Forms (everyone must fill one out), signed permission form.

The doors open for registration at 9:30PM and the lock-in officially starts at 10PM and runs until 7AM Saturday morning. Required for admittance is a 2-liter drink and $20.

Also, everyone will need to complete and fill out a medical release form – even volunteers (if you haven’t filled out one already this year — ie YAC, Judgement House, etc) before you will be allowed in. You can download a copy of the form to print and fill out here.

Judgement House is a walk-through drama that takes place in a series of up to 9 rooms. The series of rooms in which the drama takes place combine to tell a story. Each story or “script” is unique in its setting, characters and plot and is a relevant interpretation of events happening around the world today. Although the scripts are different, all of the scripts ask the same important question, “What will you do with God’s offer of a saving and personal relationship with His Son Jesus Christ.”

We will be heading to Hope Community Church in Hudson, OH for this event!

DON’T FORGET:

  • Meet at the church at 6:30pm
  • Bring some $$$ for fast food!
  • We will try to return as close to 10pm as possible!

We will meet from 9:30-11:30am weekly. The first three weeks of the month will focus on our new book “In the Grip of Grace, a closer look at Romans” by Max Lucado. The last Wednesday of the month will be a social gathering or service focused. This group was birthed out of Theresa and Joanna’s desire to connect with other women on a deep and more meaningful level and to have a safe place for women to show their authentic selves as they grow in Christ together. Striving to connect with one another as we connect with God. Childcare will be provided on a donation-basis. This group will resume on September 14th.
