“What if the Church began to see kids as people—people who desire God and can facilitate change?"

Children's Ministry Yearly Sign-ups

Together we can build our children’s classes with teachers, assistants, and nursery care that see our children as Kindgom leaders for life. Commitment is once a month, from September - August 2019.  All materials and training are provided.  Interested candidates sign-up in the lobby.

Children's Ministry Training

All those involved in Children’s ministry team - leaders, helpers care givers - are required to attend an annual training.  This class will be an opportunity to learn how to build the kids that God brings to Whipple, and a great time of learning and encouragement.

Sunday Mornings

Sunday School  |  9:30am-10:30am

Every Sunday morning from 9:30am-10:30am, classes are provided for kids in grade 1-3 and 4-6. Dedicated teachers prepare age-appropriate Bible lessons, activities, and games each week to nurture your child's spiritual growth and interpersonal development while you participate in one of the adult classes.

Kid's Church  |  10:45am-12:00pm

Children join their parents to begin the main worship service at 10:45 each Sunday. The 1st Sundays, they remain in the service the entire time to experience worship and teaching with us.  The rest of the weeks, children 4 years through grade 6 are dismissed to Big Kids Church in the Fellowship Hall.  There they recieve lessons, crafts, games and music that teaches them God's Word in a practical and fun way.  Escorts are provided to guide children to the appropriate location, but parents are always welcome to walk with their children.

Nursery & Toddlers

The nursery (birth - age 2) and toddler rooms (age 2 - K) are staffed during Sunday School.  The nursery and toddlers room (2-3yrs) are staffed during the worship service, while the 4yrs-K join their parents in the service before heading back for Kid's Church.
